C2C Pest Control and Environmental Services Limited is a private limited UK company, covering West Coast to East Coast from the M62 corridor, and an aspirational growth area covering up to the Scottish Borders over the next 2 years. We take pride in providing the highest standard of Pest Control and Environmental Service solutions. To achieve our objectives:-
We have an obligation to protect the environment and prevent pollutants through the products we create; our internal processes and the management of our supply chain will strive to ensure we deliver on our promise which will continually evolve.
Using a lifecycle perspective, most emissions and resource use, associated with C2C, come from the activities of our suppliers. Only a small proportion are a direct result of the operations of C2C.
We are committed to reducing resource consumption and emissions in line with the Paris Climate Agreement and United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) to achieve a sustainable, low-carbon future for humanity. We recognise the commercial risks of not addressing wider environmental concerns.
We will use modern techniques and technology that are environmentally responsible and at every opportunity use non-toxic treatments where available/applicable.
This policy sets the framework on how we manage and continually improve our environmental performance and other aspects of sustainable development.
As part of our commitment to protect the environment, we will:
Inspire our workforce to respond to the current and future needs of the business and its customers in relation to sustainable development and climate change.
Fulfil legislative requirements and the compliance obligations.
Improve the efficiency of our use of natural resources; reduce waste and atmospheric emissions by establishing short, medium and long-term targets that are commensurate with the relevant UN SDGs, and enforce controls to prevent pollution to air, water, and land.
Adopt methods of working and product creation that mitigate the effects of climate change
Integrate environmental management throughout our business activities, and set environmental objectives using an ISO14001:2015 Environmental Management System.
Communicate the Environmental Policy and Management System to all staff using a systematic approach that contributes to continual improvement.
Integrate environmental criteria into the procurement process and ensure that contractors, suppliers and customers are aware and supportive of our environmental commitments.
C2C Environmental Objective
Through our Environmental Policy, we are committed to running the business in such a way that will, as far as possible, prevent pollutants and support environmental protection.
Maintaining an awareness of and implementing as far as possible, the use of sustainable resources that mitigate as far as is practicably possible, the effects of climate change, thus protecting biodiversity through the elimination or minimisation of waste and pollution.
We will have due regard to all legislation, consents and controls and will identify, review, evaluate and implement new legislation, as well as relevant statutory regulations and professional requirements that impact upon our business operations.
For transparency we will always consider all relevant environmental issues when decision making and carry out robust recorded Risk Assessments.
All employees are made aware of our collective and any individual responsibilities in accordance with the C2C Environmental Policy, whilst working to continually improve our Environmental Management System (EMS).
The Management Team intends that this EMS forms a part of its overall integrated Management System (IMS) encompassing not just Environmental but also Quality and Health & Safety issues and recognises that, whilst each subject requires distinct treatment, most aspects are inextricably linked.
C2C is also committed to minimising any disturbance to the local environmental and resources of the communities in which the company operates, including the presentation of its own sites and premises.
